WilderTrees
Our goal is to convert our steeply slopped property into the Podopcarp forest that it once was. This project will go long beyond our life times, we also are focused on building a carbon capturing system, as quickly as we can. This involves active planting of key species to get some quick gains and provide a good nursery environment for the more gentle forest giants. We have an active nursery and aim provide trees to others.
Part of our journey is to be able to live and fund our development as we go, so this requires planning around revenue generated from our activities – primary honey and overtime timber from our quick growing shelter species.
